- Objective:
- *Doing research and investigation on biodiversity resources of national parks and protected areas in order to propose appropriate management and conservation solutions.
*Doing research and investigation on natural and indigenous cultural tourism resources to support ecotourism activities in national parks.
*Implementing ecotourism development planning projects in national parks and other protected areas.
*Doing research and developing models for production and economic development for households who are living in core or buffer zones of national parks and other protected areas.
*Cooperating with international organizations, national and international national park and protected area associations in terms of staff training in the field of management, scientific research on national parks and other protected areas.
*Consulting, criticizing development projects in the field of transport, irrigation, hydropower, tourism and other socio-economic developments within the area of national parks and other protected areas.
*Organizing training courses of ecotourism and eco-tourist guides for concerned groups.
*Organizing education, training, communication, dissemination, popularization on the values of national parks in order to attract all people actively involved in protection activities in national parks and other protected areas.
*Organizing tourism and excursion activities in national parks and other protected areas.
*Collecting, storing and providing information, materials, pictures, photographs, VIDEOs, CDs, VCDs, DVDs on Vietnam national parks and protected areas for interested people.
