Mission：
In the pursuit of this vision, ESI commits itself to:
*Provide academic programs with emphasis on multi-disciplinary research, pedagogy, and natural resource management with a strong environmental science and values education
*Implement relevant research projects that will dynamically respond to evolving knowledge and situations in the environmental field
*Develop non-formal training and outreach programs in partnership with various communities and publics for environmental management protection and advocacy
* Serve as a resource center for information and networking
*Act as venue for catalyzing citizens' involvement.
