Organize and coordinate all circles in Nanjing city to make joint efforts to promote the education and communication of environmental protection.

Since the World Environment Day, June 5, 2000, Nanjing Science and Technology Center of Environment has been open to the public free of charge. Until now, it has received more than 50,000 people including German experts in environmental protection, senators of Japanese government, American students, supervisors of the Environmental Education Program of Asian Urban Network, Hong Kong compatriots, experts in environmental protection from SEPA and provinces and cities, students in Nanjing city, kids and teachers in kindergartens, leaders of enterprises and institutions and the general public.
Activities:
1. Holding calligraphy and painting competitions among primary and secondary students;
2. Organizing the extra-curricula activities of the Environmental Protection Summer Camps for students;
3. Teaching students environmental protection games;
4. Organizing outdoor environmental education and helping them gain knowledge about birds, insects and plants;
5. Oganizing training programs for teachers from primary and secondary schools;
6. Making portable display boards and exhibiting them in communities, schools and enterprises;
7. Providing the exhibition platform for excellent works of environmental education made by all circles of the society.
